Macrame Madness

Our project this week was to teach the students how to create Macrame Bracelets or key chains. We showed the students how to create a spiral not with the hemp rope. Every one did a great job with there own projects.  Here is my bracelet i created but i used a different technique, I used the flat technique to show the students other ways to make Macrame.

 An extension activity for this lesson could be in a social studies class, where the students can look deeper into the history of macrame and figure out some of the different uses people throughout history used macrame for.
